Judy, <<calls have been wiped out earlier this week and it could be expected that put positions will expire worthless, that is, stocks may be pinned to strikes at the upper end of their trading range.>> I was thinking the same thing. This month, looks like the pins will go against those short the calls; i.e., upper end of the trading ranges. Before the news hit, I was looking at Dell Oct. 60's (no bid, ask 1/16 at the time) and thought about taking a flier on several hundred, but didn't Drat! Bet those are in play tomorrow.
