MM, when the US dollar gets a most severe dose of tough love due to a continued lowering of rates you will know de meaning of tough love. Japan has a high savings rate so they were in a better position to lower rates. Desperate people do desperate things the fact that this rate cut could not wait until Nov. brings two things to mind 1. Clinton & Rubin told AG to lower rates to try to save Clinton's presidency-not that it's worth saving. 2. Things are out of control and massive losses have occurred in banks, hedge funds, MM's IRA . I suspect more of the later. BK alive and well NO STOPPING IT NO WAY NO HOW. The bigger the boom the bigger the bust. Mike
