Hi Kemble:

There is a theory that one should never average down. This view is emphasized by William O'Neil. However, looking at Dell, one has to make an exception. Whenever the stock is battered by general market weakness, it is time to get Dell on fire sale. I was fortunate to accumulate more Dell at 42 the day it went to as low as 40 3/4. There is nothing wrong with Dell. As a matter of fact that smart Janus 20 fund manager said: the weakness in Asia will actually be beneficial to Dell since companies will buy computers to stay ahead from competitors. I was a little worried about Brazil, but now that the election is over ...

Even Mohan who got more Dell at 57 is not complaining!!!

I might wear Dell T-shirt tomorrow for the opening of Bellagio (what a name huh??)

Regards
