Len,

For various reasons, I started working with large cap. technology stocks, especially communications equipment companies. This group seems to yield some pretty good prospects.

I just went though my collection of nets to see if I could categorize the ones that looked good vs. those that don't. The good news is several look good enough in profit, confidence rating and verify period to be tradable. The bad news is that I am stumped as to finding the pattern of how to construct a good net.

1. Simpler is usually better, but my "best" net is one of the more complicated ones.

2. Some good ones were built with very brief periods of backprop training only. Others became significantly better with annealing and longer training.

Back to the trial and error method, I'm afraid.
