I understand and can relate to what you are saying about registry differences and BSOD's, but I am not totally convinced. As you know NT is very rigid and unforgiving at times, but at others very versatile and quite often suprises me! I have an IDE system with a ghost image. I'll plop in an Adaptec card and SCSI drive, ghost it and see what happens. I'll let you know how it turns out. Dan
