Priest:

You want to know the benchmark? You never believe me anyway. That
is why I let the third party vendor analyze for themselves. You seem
to be very happy to believe it when there is an URL link. Here is
the benchmark.

K7 has 4X peak FP power over PII core in double-precision calculation.
K7 has 2X peak FP power over PII core in single-precision calculation.
K7 has 3X peak FP power over PII core in integer calculation.

Putting in a fudge factor of 60-80%, the K7 will be about 50% clock for clock faster than the PII logic core. Are you happy now? This
will beat your El Camino as well as your Ala Cascade. Yeah I called
Gwennap up and he said it's about right. I called up AMD and they say
they'll get back to me. I called up Intel and they said yeah they are
18+ month behind. I talked to my Intel buddy and he said they have
a yield problem. That is right I called up just about everyone like
you told me to and they all told me the same thing. Sorry couldn't
provide you with any URL.
