Shorted in low 50's and got a call from my broker to cover when it hit 43. Yup, I still use a broker as I value the advice I get from him. Well, this time I did not take it and the rest is history. Lessons learned. 1. Anytime you can take a 15% gain in a day, take it!!! Don't be greedy. 2. Stick to what you know. PVN is one of the few times I have ever shorted based on recommendations from the thread. I usually stick to tech stocks since I do not know enough about finance stocks and find it very difficult to understand their financial reports. All in all a good year on the short side and actually a good year on my core long term long stocks and Mutual funds. A few more PVN's however and I will not be able to say that.
