Saviorman, thanks for the info. This is even more signs of what I suspect is the biggest reason that CREAF has become desperate to buy back shares, and that is employee moral and retention. I don't have any direct evidence, but I believe that CREAF has lost a good number of people who were fed up with the lousy stock price. I imagine that options in this stock had no value as an incentive to work there.

If you go to CREAF's web site and click on the jobs section, you will see that they have a significant number of jobs available in the US. And this is at a time when many tech companies are shrinking. And remember that SEI accepted CREAF stock at a "fair" value of 22 for their buyout. I imagine they are particularly unhappy with the present share price.

If this is the prime motivation, then CREAF will likely be very aggressive in their buy back program, which I think they should be. It's more important to get the surplus shares off the market then to piddle around trying to get the lowest price for them.
