actually, it was quite to the contrary. You cannot get a wipeout w/ lots of shorts in the mkt (and there were ALOT). I was hoping for IMF funding or a rate cut to shake out all the shorts and make bulls euphorically confident enought to throw money at stocks again (like they're doing now). I didn't plan on getting both a rate cut AND IMF funding. That's almost too much booze, I wnat the mkt drunk but not passed out. The ensuing drop could be even worse than I want. Afterall, I still have to live in this country.
