Question about LEAPS

I have 500 shares of RMBS and have thought about buying more. As an alternative, I've thought about buying Jan 2000 or 2001 leap options with a strike of 70 (they sell for approx $20-24/contract). Any opinions on this strategy as opposed to buying more shares? I thought it would be a less expensive (though possibly more risky) way of playing a greater number of shares. And if RMBS does anything close to what it is supposed to do, being higher than $90/share shouldn't be a problem in over a year or two...
