That is a very well thought out post., Bill., it is to the advantage of DeBeers to cherry pick selected assets or properties., because in a weak market enviroment weak share prices work to their advantage., the fact Winspear continues to delineate more potential tonnage., and are sitting in the strength of the market.. If one goes back in the Trump time capsule to an earlier post around #300 it lays out the guidelines from what the market view as acceptable rates of return for diamond projects. The 20% ROR seems to flash across the memory bank., it seems Winspear more than justifies those current numbers., and I suspect as the Winter program unfolds with more delineation drilling in the lake., to further extrapolate potential tonnage the numbers will become self evident., pipe or no pipe. Remember that 10Mil tons of kimberlite that is as approx 5 times as rich as the world class pipes of Aber would be equivlant to a 50Mill ton source., of 57US per carat. The difference being of course the ROE is much more appealing from a cash flow basis., and front end loaded will relative easy mining that could cushion future exploration expenses at Hilltop and Carat should ensure many prosperous years ahead for Winspear. I think Winspear has done an admirable job considering the complexity of this deposit., both from a technology standpoint., and dealing with shareholders.. This is a probably one of the most complex stories yet to unfold in the mining industry., and I for one intend on being around for the future programs. I expect a big buildup as we move to the winter program. We have multiple dyke systems., at least 3 by all indications., high gem quality., and a large distribution of quality stones. Best of all a high ROR in a project which appears to becoming one of the worlds richest small deposits. I am grateful to have been apart of this story from its onset.
King Ketchup I will see what I can find out in regards to your questions., but time of late has been a premium as my traveling has curtailed my research. Sincerely George J. Tromp |
