Bob:
The cost/reward ratio is somewhat marginal on this one unless your a Duke fanatic. Like you posted: a 11-level map, 1 new weapon, and 3 new enemies. However, you also receive Duke Stuff (screensavers, Win95 themes, ect.), and 5(1 new,4 old) Apogee/3D Realms shareware titles (Death Rally, Xenophage, Raptor, Terminal Velocity, and Rise of the Triad) too. The one new title in the shareware group, Death Rally is being published and distributed by GTIS. I've tried this demo and its top-down approach to racing reminds me the old H/O racetracks we had in the 60's, but with controls and much, much more! This one is fun, download the demo @ the Apogee/3D Realms website. Noticed GTIS is listing another new title on its release list (seems like another new one everyday !), called Tigershark (Win95/MMX) know anything about this one ? Still can't get to the Midway Games site, you have any info on the War Gods title (due 3/10)? Any info on Return Fire (on the products list) or Star Command Revolution titles?
Cheers
Bill
