Hello Ann. Thanks. I had a nice Holiday vacation and the market did it's part on that. It has continued so far. This was a nice surprise for the shorts yesterday. Maybe Greenspan is learning to time those cuts. gg. Not a bad day for double witching even though I am just even for the day.

I am not sure what this market will be doing long term but at the moment those cuts should be fueling the market a bit more. One analyst, Byron Wien, who is a regular on WSW, threw his bear towel in for the time being; that should help. I think near term resistance is now pegged at 8600, our famous Ralph Acampora thinks it could go to there, but who knows, maybe Abby Cohen's 9300 target by the end of the year will come about. Too bad those European countries are balking at a rate cut. It would def. help the world markets a lot if they would come around to a rate cut. Well, so much for a global market on that score at this point.

BN and Amzn. In the long run BN should be doing well also. Bertelsmann is a pretty big concern in Germany. Could help BN in Europe. But I may still be trading in Amzn. I generally pick it up in the 90's and sell out at 110+ but was scared to pick it up this time around even in the 80's last week. Too bad I did not know about this surprise cut. gg.

Orcl is up again nicely. I heard that they should be doing well but competition is out there and SAP is supposed to be the king pin in that arena.

Are you still holding that lovely stock I sold a long time ago? gg.

Sonny
