Marty,

If you will go to the web site and read the Max-Pain™ calculation method and limitations/warnings that have been observed and noted, perhaps that will explain why there will be times when the theory/hypothesis doesn't apply well.

This month is an earnings release month and a Greenspanning combined. That is a pretty big set of forces for a second order effect to try to overcome.
