<<<<Greenspan caused the 1990 recession by being too tight...Bush lost because this...Greenspan has learned his lesson...Greenspan has done a great job>>>> no bush wasn't re-elected for a variety of reasons.. like his son neil being involved in a big way in SL scandal, barfing on a japanese business man, and of course the read my lips lie, outdone by our current leader who ejaculates on everyone, and lied.. greenspan has hardly done a good job controlling the fed. please give me 2 examples. forget the "i have equities in the stock market" philosophy, that was good for the fundies and other big money... the dollar's supposed strength lies in it's store of value... if we lend it out for less and less, then it becomes devalued. when you take the value out of the dollar, the money flows elsewhere, and so far it has been in to equities. my advice, by long term oil contracts.
