Great News! Spoke to IR today!

Spoke to Hank today at INDI's Investor's relations.
He was very informative and patient with my questions.

I asked him the following question (his responses are paraphrased):

---
Q: Will there be any press releases regarding the new INDI web site? Why haven't there been any news regarding such significant changes?

A: We are in the process of testing the web site and making sure all the features we add will work properly. We don't want to start advertising our new site until we've gotten all the bugs out of it. There will definately be press releases in the following weeks to show off the newly revamped INDI web site. We feel this is a very significant accomplishment and we are proud of our new web site.

Q: What's the status of the INDI 500 distribution deal with Merril Lynch?

A: Merril Lynch, as you're aware, is currently having its own problems with Hedge Funds. As far as we're concerned, they've said OK to the distribution but until the check arrives, the deal is not finalized. The deal is on their table at this point. They have not said NO to the deal but we are disappointed that the deal has taken so long.

Q: Are there any plans for a stock buyback? The price of this stock is very low and it might boost investor confidence if the company approved of a stock repurchase plan.

A: No, currently, there are no plans to authorize a stock repurchase plan. We would like to retain as much equity in the stock as possible and not dilute the stock. However, we do feel that the stock is bargain at this price. I will relay your thoughts regarding a stock repurchase plan and boosting investor confidence to our CEO.

Q: How's the new president doing?

A: Our new president is doing fantastic. She's very optimistic about the company and she cares very much about the bottom line as well as the top line of this company. She has only been here a few weeks but everyone here at the company is very enthusiastic about her at the helm.

Q: How's the Individual Investor magazine doing this quarter?

A: Our new publisher is doing great and we've recently added IBM, Microsoft, Cisco and other companies to our list.

Overall, he seemed very honest in answering my questions. I feel pretty good about my investment at this point (at around a buck a share, it seems like a pretty good deal). It seems like the company's new web site will generate a lot of traffic and hopefully, new advertising deals. Good luck all and I hope you find this information useful.
