you know the old adage - buy the rumour, sell the news. seriously - i think most folks were expecting a little more from ave. last time ave posted $0.90 against consensus of $0.72. this time consensus was $0.69 and ave posts $0.80 - a little less than stellar and also down 12% sequentially. that is bad news. can anyone explain why avei is down 3+ points with the excellent earning report they gave? why is it being dumped? volume is extremely higher than normal daily average.
