Now your argument is falling apart.
You call the near eradication of slavery an isolated instance? do you call equal rights for minorities an isolated instance? Acknowledgement of womens rights an isolated instance? Do you have any concept of the barbaric nature of the concept of right and wrong in olden times?
How many "wotches do you see burned at the stake? How many people drowned to see if they are telling the truth?
The concept that morality is eroding is a feeble one if people only wish to look at history. Mankind is definitley progressing, but that doesnt mean that god is less important. It just means that we have taken responsibility for our actions in some instances and improved things. Nothing more and nothing less.

Yes, mother thearesa was doing gods work, by caring for others, regardless of their religious background. Mahatma ghandi als did god's work. If, you, as a Christian want to take credit for that, that is your business.

That is incredibly naive. People fall out of love and it is not always a lack of hard work. Ask many marriage counselors who have people in their who work their butts offf, and are unable to save marriages.
People change and grow, sometimes at different rates. It happens, regardless of how hard you work, or wheather you want it to.
Your comment that love is only in isolated instances works against your other comments. If there is so little love, I guess there are many whose souls didnt grow as one, and shouldnt be married, regardless of how hard they work.
