Yes, they are a competitor. And they do have a nice website ... TSIS needs to update their website and I believe they are in the process of doing so.

Don mentioned at the annual meeting last year that Shareholder Direct was our only "real" competitor, although our services are more comprehensive. As a matter of fact, in looking over the client list for Shareholder Direct, I notice that they list Ameritech as a client. But they have lost them since TSIS has now signed them.

I understand that they had some other clients as well ... clients that are now part of the TSIS family. By the same token, Don does not like to mention accounts that they are working on (as a rule) since it could give the competition a run on the same company. And I am sure a few have been stolen from us as well. The one positive is that although they may have taken one or two from us prior to our having signed them, they have lost accounts that were under contract with them to us. TSIS has never lost one account - at least that's what they claim. And I see no reason to doubt them.

So that tells me that the competition leaves something to be desired and whatever that is, TSIS fills the gap. We keep our clients and they lose theirs. What does that tell you? Yes, we have competition. But obviously TSIS is doing it right!
