Tom I'm not sure that it's safe to say
how rapidly this industry and Qualcomm
will grow. I think back to the early days
of cellular and fiber. Both are examples
of very poor prediction of growth. Both
where understated.

The worlds economy will be a key factor over the next
few years. If all is stable and well, you could
easily see QCOM growing more rapidly that
expected. Countries as India, Russia (and former
USSR countries) and China are hugh marketplaces.
In all instance the existing wireline infrastucture
is very archaic. Throw in S.A. and this is dynamic
growth potential that I believe to be extremely
understated.

LU and Nortel are aggressive in
securing contracts to supply that infrastucture.
The more I use my QCOM phone the more impressed
I'm with it's design and features. The marriage
of Sony I think was a shrewd move on QCOM part.
I would expect expansion of production in the
next few years in Mexico, Brasil, Argentinia or Asia
a very distinct possibility.

Now, where did I put that aspirin.
