I have not followed the oil service stocks. I will have to look at a chart on them.
I do know that many of the juniors are still priced near bankruptcy levels and very few people ( still ) believe gold can really take off.
I have written about the titanic struggle that is going on. But I think the bulls will win the day and win big.
It is only a matter of time before more rate cuts come and more disasters are announced. You remember we reported in Midas awhile back that Banker's Trust was "toast". That stock closed down today 5 1/2 in a 100 plus Dow day after a rate cut.
Pension funds are actually buying gold now. The pace and case for much greater demand for gold should continue to build. Many juniors will soar in price.
