If they planned on using Netware for a trading system they would have said so explicitly. The vague increase trader productivity could mean anything from consolidating system logons to delivering a workstation application. I seriously doubt the CME plans on doing business (executing trades) on NetWare, if so I would suggest finding a way to profit from more chaos in the commodity markets :-)

The CME NetWare admins may have successfully defended their turf, so be it. NT will get another turn one day.
