Yes, Jerry did look smug. At this point I believe there is now a divergence between Acampora and Favors' views. Hopefully someone will post the formal text of their market views in light of this week's market action.

My sense is that DOW 8600 should contain this rally, now with 8100 as the downside limit on retrace down. It took the DOW 3-4 times to breakout of resistance at 8100, so previous strong resistance should provide decent support until some fundamental event occurs. Since a shift of sentiment occurred with the Fed's surprise rate cut, a higher trading range seems to be in the cards.
