Interest rate cuts - waiting for two more cuts, 1/4 each, to keep our Dow momentum up. Thanks Uncle Greenspan. As Japan starts to raise cash to bail out their banks, US corporations spending cash on y2k. Thailand, Korea, Singapore, and Taiwan are coming out of their problems. Indonesia, Malaysia, Russia, will stay in the dumps longer. India and China beat each other on GDP growth of 5-6%. Next qtr will be great to watch: earnings surprises (positive or negative) vs. year-end selling. Uncle Greenspan has to throw in a cut or two, one at a time, to keep the average floating and building confidence until the January buying kicks in. All the cash sitting on the sidelines will break loose and raise the Dow even further. The y2k sector will roar again? No. of posts in this thread is increasing. It is as good an indicator as any. Adding more with greed and dreaming. Ram
