Chris,
Chicago doesn't change to much so nothing much new there, but IDC court decision in Germany went well. On 11/18/96 the German Judges in the Appelate court found for IDC a second time. Alcatel and Philips have 30 days from the time the Judges give their written views to the companies to appeal the appeal. Most legal eagles think this won't happen because only once in the history of the German courts did the Judges reverse their opinion. Should they appeal it would be heard by the same Judges that found for IDC the first 2 times and I feel the Judges would not say they were wrong the first 2 times. Of interesting note is the fact that the same patent that was challeged by Mot in the USA was found to be legitimate or valid in Germany. IDC has the possibilty to get paid for all GSM and TDMA systems that have been installed over the years in Europe. Since this decision Pacific Growth Equities has come out with a strong buy reccomendation on IDC. They reccomend to institutions and large independent investors. At 5 15/16 it is a real bargain. Lots of tax selling at the end of year so stock will make its move soon. Beta B-CDMA system will be inroduced in first quarter according to CEO. Time will tell all.

Jim
