My reasons for liking Dialogic at this level are that they are extremely valuable as an acquisition target base on their balance sheet and huge installed based, along with their development community.

Obviously, this bet has some risk, but CT Media, CT Connect and DM3 would be a nice addition to the portfolio of a Lucent, Ericsson or Cisco, along with many others. They presently have almost 100 million in cash and marketable securities, and their engineering talent and huge partner community add to their intrinsic value.

The most important value a potential acquirer would get is the huge base of 3rd party developers and marketshare. At these levels, the engineering talent alone would be worth the price. The cash and marketshare are just bonuses.

Most long-term owners of Dialogic are frustrated, as I am. The products are great, the partnerships are great, but management doesn't know how to enhance shareholder value. That is a recipe ripe for acquisition.
