Hi,
We sure did get some buys.
Overall we increased our Dupont holdings by well over 50 %.
Because of the sale of our business our accountant advised to take some losses if we had any. After doing our books the last 3 years and seeing our results following AIM and Dogs of the Dow he was starting to think we never had any losses. We were able to satisfy him with our Midas gold fund, Invesco Gold fund and Falcon drilling. We still will have to pay a chunk to Uncle, but I guess that happens when you have a successful business and don't believe in debt.
We replaced FLC with Patterson energy (PTEN) which looks like it is going to give us a nice AIM ride as oil prices go up this winter.
We replaced the gold funds with one, BGEIX from American Century which has luckily outperformed Midas and Invesco in recent, slight Gold runup.
Dupont's close today puts us in the black on our last 4 AIM buys. We are pretty close to a sell but will probably have to do a "Vealie" because of taxes. Still a ways to go on the Oil and Gold issues.
I've ordered the CDRom version of VL. If it produces anything of real interest I might be able to e-mail it. Will keep you advised.
Bernie
