In many cases it might be cheaper to take the mill to the ore. I just have to wonder when people start talking about hundreds of millions of dollars, seven years, and raising the hundreds of millions to get the project to first base. If you have a small rich vein and are close to an existing mill, one might be better off to start cashing in right now. One big scoop and pay the freight. When the money starts to flow, you don't owe anybody.
