Peter, I got this info from analyst reports that were written after the conf call. The reports were from Montgomery Sec, Lehman Bros, CIBC Oppenheimer, Josepthal and somebody else.
I was trying to figure out the revs per link for ADSL and this is what I came up with: $7.4 mil in ADSL rev, 85% was for GTE so $6.29 came from GTE divided by 20,000 links = $315 per link. (I don't know exact # of links sold to Telia, so I used GTE) To get 35% gross margins, ADSL link would have to cost $205 per link (315x.65). Add the $260 per link cost savings to come...gets you a cost of around $465 per link in Qtr 3. Does this make sense to anyone else?
If the $260 per link savings is correct and ORCTF sells say, 250,000 links in '99 they will save $65MM.
HDSL: I believe margins are in the mid 30's range..HDSL2 might be slightly higher.
If anyone comes up w/ different #'s please post, we might be able to forecast future Revs and EPS. |
