Drive Image let me start the restore process but about 1 percent into the restore displayed an error message. Something about too many primary partitions on the drive. I went back to Partition Magic and deleted a primary partition. Right after the deletion of the partition the copy partition option became available again. The partitions I am talking about are primary partitions, not extended partitions. I do not think there is a limitation to extended partitions except the 26 drive letter limitation. You have to backup a few steps and remove the NTFS partition first Interesting limitation of PM/DI. Its not a hard limit. I have personally setup systems with up to 7 primary paritions on one physical disk all selected by OS/2 BM. You have to backup a few steps and remove the NTFS partition first The problem occurred on the free space that I created with Partition Magic at the beginning of the drive. I only created the NTFS partition after I had trouble trying to format FAT. Never had a problem here. If you have a Soundblaster go ahead and install it before SP3. Service Pack 3? Is that something I download from the Microsoft site? Is it a worthwhile upgrade? Consider it essential. its a mandatory requirement for many software packages. Any time you re-config NT components such as changing network settings or adding and removing OS components you must re-install SP3 afterwards. Definitely install this before IE 4.0. Keep it on your HD you will need it often. SP4 has been in beta for over 6 months and is still not out.... Sean
