Thought to add for the week:

Lots of talk of the fed manipulating the market and various reasons for it being a bad call. I see it this way:

Lets compare the current situation to a sport. When a team is in need of a play or a score who do they go to: their money player. Micheal Jordan, Steve Young, Mark MacGuire... Who does the fed go to, its money player: the almighty baby boomer generation. The recent move is giving the baby boomers the ball. Lets see what they do with it. Consumer demand is going to be the largest factor now. Not hedge funds, asian problems, martians landing... The baby boomers have the ball and they know how to spend it.
