I believe they do road shows. I have read information about them in the past. The ipo market appears to have shut down for now. I have been surprised by lack of information from sfe on whov.
As to compucom, I wish you all luck. I owned it for what seems a life time now and never saw it turn the corner. It does not seem to be able to compete with Dell. If I buy a company, I like buying companies that I really like for the long run and that have a profit potential I can understand. Cmpc no longer fits that definition for me. As to sfe, it has several very good public companies, but it has a number of big losers. Tesi has been an sfe company for years. I have seen it at 2 then go to the teens and back down. Compucom I mentioned above. Catp has been good but currently seems to be out of favor and to have some new competitive problems. Tlabs really isn't an sfe company ,but I like it at these prices and it has been a great performer until this summer. It just had a great earnings release and their ceo was very bullish about next quarter and next year. Scai, as I have mentioned in previous posts, seems to have a unique product that should be able to produce tremendous profits and growth if it can hold its act together. It is one of my favorites. Dpti I have never understood and I can't help but wonder how much more production per professional they can get. Of the other public companies, docucorp is the only other one I like at this time, but it ,as well as most of the sfe companies, seem to have limited products. That means any given company can die overnight if its business plan proves in error.
Does anyone have an opinion on whether we will retest lows for small caps.
Good luck to all.
