Clearly it's not a question of "whether" but only a matter of "when".

Trouble is, one must must not lose sight of this long-term picture because of short-term fluctuations which tend to confuse one's judgement.

Also important to keep the long-term XAU graph in mind and to remember 1986 and 1993 that, when it moves, it moves. If one is not on board, one will be left behind.
