Rescue Boot Drives....SparQ...CDROM...???
I am a little confused as to how the SparQ works as a boot drive. Assuming an internal IDE SparQ drive. Does the drive act as a fixed drive? Can you install an operating system on the drive, set it as the boot drive in the mobo bios and then boot from the drive?

Yep....

Along the same line of thought, a boot CD would be even more convenient. Would it be possible to create a boot CD with an OS, Drive Image and Partition Magic installed? In the event of some type of failure one would put the boot CD in the CDROM drive and turn on the machine and then make restorations.

Can't do it.... A lot of people on that adaptec mailing list have been working on this but no one has succeeded.

Either way a floppy will always suffice.
