Here's my current take on Docucon:
1) Its my impression that Peter Dale did us all a favor by blowing out the bubble as soon as it was inflated. But, and I'll probably get slammed for saying this, I just don't share the screaming level of disbelief that he does about DOCU and year 2000 technology. It seems for a hoax to work it must have a high believability factor. Since this hoax worked very successfully even for a short time, it must of contained more than just trivial parts of truth. I know there still isn't a tad of fact, but I think someone out there knows alot more than us. I also don't buy into his take on the power of these chat groups. That's another reason I think there is something else happening.

2) Has it struck anyone else that the speed and integrity of the Company's response may be becoming a real asset? That besides the instant publicity, the word is spreading that this company is responsible and trustworthy? Why should we care? Well their major client seems to be the government and when future contracts come around wouldn't this act as a real feather in their cap that they will perform as they promise? The proof is already out there in a situation they easily could have taken to the bank. This may make decision-making bureaucrats feel much more comfortable using Docucon's services.

Later. Mark
