Interesting article, cheekster. Thankfully, a search of my HD only came up with some help files, and various dll files. Guess I have somehow stumbled my way into doing something right, huh?

Listen, there is life outside this obsession of yours.<g> Just as Microsoft has us by the short hairs, requiring us, for the most part, to use the buggy stuff they push on us, so do the sites and their cookies. As long as most of us put up with it, there may not be much change. This is true in all sorts of areas, but the phrase 'what the market will bear' comes to mind.

I guess more of us prefer the easier navigation to the invasions of our privacy that cookies represent. I don't say this is right, but I think we long ago gave up many of our rights that a generation ago, people would never have thought we could. Letting minimum wage airport workers randomly pull us out of a line and go through our personal belongings,(happens to me regularly, guess I have that look...) having political correctness run wild in dictating our speech, and a list as long as your arm, all have served to deteriorate what we once might have thought untouchable). Unfortunately, the activists among us, of which I am one, are far too few. Most people nowadays have just too much on their plate to have any time left to complain. Best to just do your best to get along without driving yourself nuts.
