Patric,
Fib numbers particularly .618 and it's inversion 1.618 are commonly used market multiples, but my connection just doesn't fly, although it could :-) I don't know how fib numbers are applied, but I did have so many fib arcs overlaying charts for a few weeks I couldn't see prices move. Not my first tangle with that mess and it's staying on the back burner for good this time!
US military parades superiority with symbols of lasting value like that 5 sided domicile, shhhhh :-) The Pentagon. It's the same proportions as our financial wizs use. I hear 1,2,3,5,8,13 as indicator parameters but the basis .618, 1.618 carry weight with Generals, Egyptians and Market Wizards. It's used for retracements and projections, also 2.618, 4.24 and 7 or 8 something or other. Bet the Advanced Get fibbies know precisely. I'll invite some :)) I've almost purchased it myself recently. I'm sure I will after I lighten up on cade at 20!
Last Chart's with an Attitude seminar Marcos who has TradeStation and Adv Get sketched channel breaks complete with logic for small range b/o bars. Entry, stop, and target were based on 1.5 times b/o range, so big b/o bars cut his profits!
Now that's off my chest and I still don't have Adv Get :) I'll say this. We could easily rally a point without inspiring me. Some of my shares cost 3.50 so I give them up here? there? or wait? Easy! I wait until the market recognizes the value I have. That's a good ways over 5, and I wouldn't be surprised a bit to see Cade at 6,7,8 or 9 next week. However, if it happens, I'm going to struggle with why I should give up any shares at 9. Hold out for more??
