QDEK management ran the company into the ground, I'd say it was just ineptitude and inability to adapt to the changing market, not a conspiracy to drive the company out of business.

There will be a stockholder vote on the sale - whether or not shareholders tender their shares. If SYMC doesn't get 50% + 1, the sale won't go through.. but that would probably leave the stock at considerably less than .52 each.

Learn from the experience. I'm learning a $12,500 or so lesson with this one myself. Be sure to write off the loss, and hopefully find some better gains elsewhere.
