Raymond,

I see your point about these being Muhammad's teachings, although I'm not sure if Muhammad is guessing that the person would get punished for getting urine on him, or he would really get punished by God.

The Hadith is very confusing to me because the more I read, the more I can't tell what is from God and what is from Muhammad. It seems like a lot of it is not from God, as it seems like foolishness!

What is disturbing as I read more is that I'm not assured that anything in the Hadith's are from God, because as you said they are not God's perfect word according to Islam. But in some cases the teachings from the Hadith are so important that we can not live without them.

But then, obviously the ludicrious teachings don't come from God!

I'm I getting this right???? Please help!!!!

God Bless,
Steve
