the K7 isn't like the K6, etc. It doesn't just drop into an established motherboard, with established chipsets. You need to give at least 3 months lead time for chipsets to be built and maybe another 2 weeks for motherboards..

I thought the whole idea of K7 using slotA, is that it plugs into an existing Alpha chipset/motherboard with only a bios change.

Based on what I've been reading here, I don't expect to see K7 in production anytime soon.
