Anthony, The way I hear it from 2 Dr's is the marriage will be AHP and MRK. MRK needs a direct distribution system for over-the-counter-drugs. They don't have one. They use JNJ for most of that. Time will tell. I did buy a 1000 shares @ 44 7/16 and I'm very comfortable with them. I also own a 1000 shares of IMNX @ 51 1/4. So I'm playing like something is going to happen. IMO, it would happen over Thanksgiving, to protect the deal from any further problems, going into the new year...... MRK's new drug for 1999 is vioxx and is expected to be a blockbuster.
