So John said:
"I have a dilemma, in that I don't want it to appear that we are excited about $50 and $60K orders when we have announced $1M to $5M contracts."
And the Thread said, never mind the 50 or 60K limit, please explain these 30 and 60K expenses.
In my irritated opinion, the shareholders are owed an explanation about issues which materially affect results. However, financial issues which add up to the value of the total annual salary, including benefits, etc., of only one or two staff members just aren't that significant. (Yeah, I know, there might be something illegal, or "inappropriate" etc. etc. going on, but that's one of the things the Board of Directors is supposed to watch for.)
I think the thread is getting guilty of micromanaging. We are shareholders, not managers who have somehow bought the right to second guess whether UIC provides one-ply or two-ply tissues in the washrooms.
Please, lets lighten up!
(Apology in advance to Chris etc. who asked questions. Its not the fact that there are questions, its just the amounts that are at issue. This week I made many times more than the amounts at issue here just by switching some of my previously reported losers into Nortel. I wouldn't dream of asking the President of Nortel about one-ply or two, even though the world-wide corporate bill for tissues is probably more than the current market capitalization of UIC).
(Now that sounds like I'm running down UIC. Once I start one of these little rants its not possible to avoid pissing someone off. I should learn....) |
