Judy, It depends. The price of the individual issue is the main control factor. I plan certain time strategies, but the price determines whether or not I pull the trigger at that time. For example, I plan to buy IBM puts after the fake eps report. But if the stock declines, I may hold off. I'm kind of hoping for $140 this time, expecting the same drop as when the issue fell from $135 all those times in the recent past. With Intel, I am waiting until after the Xmas scam.

I hate GE, but I haven't figured out a strategy for it yet. I know that they are massaging eps with cap gains, but they may be able to do that for quite a while even in a bear market.

Apple is another after Xmas choice.

I would love another round of profits at the banks, brokers and airlines, but don't really expect them to comply.

So, right now, I am concentrating on the bloated internet and drug stocks. They are related, you know. You can't buy an internet stock unless you are on drugs. <G>
