Dude, Everyone always had the opportunity of gaining eternal life. The only thing extra the Jews had was the responsibility for maintaining and spreading God's word. And they failed miserably..... And God always maintained if you are not given an opportunity to know the truth then you can not be held responsible for not knowing it at judgement time. No one is penalized for not knowing!
