Ms. mesaone,
In other places on the internet, notably Yahoo and Ragingbull, aside from the obvious attributes of the company, its business plan, the product and the TA on the stock, there is a mention of the very large short position. There are those who believe that a "short squeeze" is a definite possibility.
I happen to subscribe to this theory. Therefore, I would advise all BTIM longs to get their shares into type 1, non-hypthecatable accounts. what is this, you might ask? Hopefully, you do not have your shares in a margin account.
When your shares are in a margin account, they are available for "borrowing", i.e., to a shortseller. Please contact your broker and insure that your shares are in a non-hypothecable, cash account.
Aside from all the positive aspects of the company, this is a great candidate for a short squeeze. Remember Presstek, Iomega, Ktel?
We can do the same, and more, because we have a great product!!
How about we get our shares into non-loanable accounts, OK?
Best regards to the thread,
