it's NOT that TDM type of traffic nor Sonet SDH mode will be history, it's the better efficieny and performance of the new type of equipments such as Ciena 192 metro that have the ability to effectively transport ATM/IP/SDH over the legacy systems such as Titan. Two years in internet calendar is like two decades.
