John, the detail is really as much for my benefit as anyone else's because it allows me to test my suppositions and conclusions, and refine them if necessary. That's why I asked those who believed that stock prices were manipulated at the time of options expiry to demonstrate how it could be done profitably. And since I cannot see how it is possible that lead me to reject the whole theoretical basis behind the max-pain analysis.
