Please don't practice the Golden Rule on me. One of the problems with the golden rule is that people's tastes are vastly different. One may detest what another prefers, one man's meat is another man's poison, etc. The negative version is at least less intrusive:

Do not do unto others that which you would not want them to do unto you.
