Operating profit is the profit generated by product sales less product cost. They did take a 500k write down on their library. This was a paper write down- just like an inventory adjustment. The material is still there, just not as valuable. They appear to have turned the corner and are now capable of producing a profit. I invested in this company several years ago by buying some of their junk bonds. I converted the bonds to stock. Maybe 1997 will see a price increase. I would like to see them take the profit and buy back some stock while it is cheap. One million will buy over 5% of the company. Need to get the price up and not waste their profits.
