I have not been following SUN & ORCL stocks too closly, but I believe that their future is closly tied to the success of NC's and JAVA. 1997 will see *explosive* growth in JAVA based technology and I can only but assume that if ORCL and SUN can properly execute their strategies (1997 is the year of execution, '96 was all hype!) then look out for some impresive gains IMHO.

You are right on MSFT or DELL, with JAVA and NC's you will see their dominance start to diminsh, they will still be major players...but at a much reduced stock price!

In hindsight (isn't that word wonderfull) we should have sold VRTY at $18-19 and bought back in a $15-16 (i got in at $12.50 so I still can't complain :) ) anticipating tax loss selling! That is a short term play, but I am holding on for $20+ before I go for some profit taking.
